A set of 4 double pointed needles 3.5 and wool that is soft and warm knit in 3.5,

up 42 stitches and distribute over 3 needles (14 each),

make 5 rows of stockinette turning ....

1 row of stitches to
5 rows of stockinette stitch
a rank of " holes holes" or (2 stitches together, 1 yo, 2 sts together, 1 threw up end of row)

next row knit stitches and thrown into the place ...

a purl row
5 rows of stockinette stitch
3 rows Point Wheat
1st row: you start with 1 st place, 1 purl, 1 st place, so until the end of the row
2nd row: start with a purl , 1 st place, 1 purl until the end of range
